About Karm Prathisthan

Satara District holds a rich historical legacy and has been home to many remarkable individuals who dedicated their lives to uplifting the weaker sections of society. While globalization and modern technology have transformed our lifestyle and work culture, the need for healthy, inclusive, and sustainable living remains more important than ever. Despite rapid development, women, children, and the environment continue to face the harshest impacts of technological and societal changes. It is time for people to recognize these challenges and unite for the betterment of society.

A group of young and enthusiastic individuals shared this desire to do something good for society. We believe in the power of good deeds, called karmas, and thus, we aimed to uplift women, children, young people, and farmers in remote and marginalized areas. This gave rise to Karm Prathisthan, a non-profit organization registered under the Public Trust Act of 1950 with registration number 17092 in the year 2020. We are dedicated to promoting the rights of farmers, women, children, and young people, and addressing climate change.

The remarkable work done by Karm Parthisthan to advocate for the rights of underprivileged children, women, and youth is very inspirational. We must strive for a society that is inclusive and fair, where every individual is granted equal opportunities and can live with dignity, free from discrimination and injustice. The organization's emphasis on finding long-term solutions and empowering marginalized communities to achieve sustainable livelihoods is highly motivational. We mobilize support to save, protect, and rebuild the lives of the poorest of poor affected by inequality, crisis, and humanitarian disasters. We put first the rights of the marginalized at the heart of everything we do, we work to create a discrimination-free India where everyone lives a life of dignity, free from injustice and inequality. Join us as we reach out to the marginalized people, to provide them with opportunities, lasting solutions, and confidence to lead a fully productive, and harmonious sustainable livelihood for good.

Why We Are Here?

In India, millions of people continue to face deep-rooted discrimination arising from gender, caste, and economic inequality. These interconnected challenges silence voices and widen the gap between privilege and poverty.

At Karm Prathisthan, we envision an India where every individual has the right to live with dignity—where no one is denied education, healthcare, food, water, shelter, or the freedom to be heard.

We are here to break discrimination, empower the unheard, and build a society rooted in justice, equality and respect.
